Location

Located in Tsavo West National Park, the Finch Hatton Luxury Tented Camp can be reached with a 30-minute flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. From Finch Hatton’s airstrip, there is a short road transfer through the park, with chances to spot animals on the way. Guests who choose to drive from Nairobi face a journey of approximately four hours.

Rooms / Tents

Finch Hatton boasts 17 exquisite luxury tented suites, with a focus on eco-friendliness and preserving the outside environment. This is achieved through careful placement of each tent and the use of natural materials and gentle architecture to create these incredible spaces. Each luxury tent is set on a wooden platform, with verandahs offering amazing views of watering holes and hippo pools in the distance, complemented by elegant sitting areas both outside and inside. Bedding in the Standard Tents can be arranged as king or twin, while the Luxury Family Suites feature two separate bedrooms, a lounge area, and a large verandah.

For the ultimate in safari accommodation luxury, the Finch Hatton Suite is stunning with the same features as other accommodations but adds a dining area and a plunge pool. Guests staying in this tent also have the option of a private safari guide for their game drives. Each tent has lovely dark wooden floors and cream canvas walls and ceilings, with lavish chandelier-style lights centrally placed above. There is also a minibar and WiFi available for guests. Each tent is en-suite with an exquisite bathroom offering a stand-alone bathtub plus an outside shower. Plush bathrobes and slippers add extra comfort during the stay.

Early morning and late afternoon game drives in the wildlife-rich Tsavo West National Park are the key activities when staying at Finch Hatton Luxury Tented Camp. Wonderful guided bush walks led by experienced safari guides offer guests opportunities to discover the small creatures, flora, and fauna of the region, alongside sightings of larger wildlife in the distance.
