The rooms are neatly decorated with mosquito netting and verandahs opening up to wonderful views.
Location
Shella Royal House is located in the Lamu Archipelago along Kenya’s east coast. Guests would fly from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta or Wilson Airports to Manda Airport, and then transfer to Shella Royal House, a short boat ride away.

There are 13 comfortable rooms on offer at Shella Royal House. Each room is equipped with a solid bed, mosquito netting over the four posters, and minimal furniture in each space. A small table is present and tea/coffee-making facilities, a fan and a wardrobe are on offer.
There is room service and WiFi on offer in the rooms, and certain rooms have a terrace while others give guests the chance to glance over the glistening Indian Ocean. All rooms are en-suite with a humble bathroom comprising a toilet, vanity, and simple shower, as well as bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay.
