Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp is situated on the banks of Lake Naivasha, a prime setting in Kenya’s Rift Valley. A 90-minute drive northwest from Nairobi, this 20-tented camp offers comfort and subtle luxury in a tranquil safari setting. The main area has a dining area where exquisite meals are created with fresh African ingredients and can be served indoors and outside. A small lounge and cozy bar invites guests to relax for a while with a swimming pool to cool guests down after a day of wildlife viewing.
Guests can embark on a cultural visit to nearby communities or visit the Makalia Falls in between embracing the boat rides that take place on Lake Naivasha. Hiking options are on offer from the camp and the friendly camp team is always available to share the history and heritage of this region with guests.
Location
The tranquil Lake Naivasha lies 90 minutes northwest of Nairobi, with Crescent Camp located near the towns of Naivasha and Nakuru. Mt Longonot stands in the background and the landscape around the camp is a mix of lush greens, blue water and a myriad of captivating birdlife, hippos and more.
Rooms / Tents
20 fully-canvas tents with dark wooden floors are situated with views overlooking the surrounding wilderness with Mt Longonot in the distance. Tents are ranged and have wooden decks offering a private place for guests to relax and can be configured into double, twin or family rooms. Each tent has solid wooden chairs, a writing desk and bed with mosquito nets and a flat screen TV in the room. Decor is a mix of neutral and African print and simply decorated. Bathrooms are ensuite with a toilet and hot showers.

The most popular animal visitors expect to see when visiting Lake Naivasha are flamingos.
