Borana and Lewa conservancies together host one of East Africa’s largest continuous rhino habitats in the world with over 200 rhinos.

If you’re looking to stay in Borana, you have a wide range of options to choose from that differentiate by style, size, and location. Tsavo West is also within proximity to Mount Kenya National Park. The most common way to get there is the drive on the Nanyuki–Isiolo Road. This drive offers beautiful landscape views of Laikipia Plateau, Mount Kenya, local villages and farmlands, and of the surrounding wildlife.
