Tarangire National Park Day Tour, Leave from and return to your hotel in the Arusha area, your home, or the airport. We’ll pick you up at 7:00 am in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep for a full-day tour.It is a pleasant surprise to find Tarangire National Park. It’s possible that the more well-known parks get more attention than this one, but it has the second-highest number of wildlife in Tanzania. Here are some numbers to review: There are more than 3,000 elephants and more than 700 cats that live in Tarangire.

It’s almost magical in this area, which is full of huge termite mounds and strange baobab trees. That being said, the park gives off a sense of peace and quiet because of its wildlife. This is a great place to spend a day on an Africa safari because it has beautiful views and easy rhythms that come from being in nature.

Of all the wildlife in the country, this park has the second-highest concentration. However, during the summer months of the dry season, it has the highest population of elephants in the world. Tigers, leopards, and cheetahs will also be on the lookout for us. There are also large groups of zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalo, deer, and more than 450 different kinds of birds.

The huge and unusual baobab trees might be in competition with the park’s huge groups of elephants. With their thick, root-like branches, they look like the huge tree was ripped out of the ground and planted upside down, which is also what the local tale says.

Such big trees! Some of them are at least 1000 years old and grow up to 30 m (98 ft) tall. In keeping with the theme, the park’s big elephants like to eat the bark of the great baobab.

At Tarangire, we’ll find more strange things, like the big termite mounds that rise from the fields. Wildlife in the park, some of which is very small, made these one-of-a-kind homes. They leave a more noticeable mark than any other. The dwarf mongoose moves into the building and makes it its home when the tiny insects leave the big mounds. This is a natural process called recycling.
