Day 1 – Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Arrive in the morning or around lunchtime at Kigali International Airport. You will be met by your professional
Driver Guide from Adventure In The Wild Safaris who will provide a warm welcome and brief you on
your Rwanda safari. Begin your Kigali City Tour visiting key landmarks including cultural sites,
markets, and the city center. Later in the day, embark on a scenic drive (115 km / approx. 2 hours) to
Volcanoes National Park in the north of Rwanda, where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Rwanda Gorilla Tracking Experience

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for your Gorilla Tracking adventure.
Following a briefing by the park rangers, you will set off into the misty forested slopes of the Virunga Volcanoes.

Once the gorilla family is located, you are allowed to spend one hour observing and photographing
these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. This close encounter with the gentle giants is a magical, emotional,
and unforgettable experience—arguably one of the most breathtaking wildlife moments on Earth.

You may request a particular gorilla group based on trek difficulty and availability. After tracking, return to the lodge
for lunch and a relaxing afternoon. Optionally, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village where you can interact
with local communities, experience traditional Rwandan culture, and enjoy lively dances. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Return to Kigali & Departure (115 kms / approx. 2hrs)

Enjoy breakfast and check out. Drive back to Kigali City for your outbound flight or continued travel plans, marking
the end of your gorilla trekking journey with Adventure In The Wild Safaris.
