Arusha national Park Day Tour
Arusha National Park Day Tour, Giraffes, swamps, mountains, and rainforests. Leave from and return to your hotel in the Arusha area, your home, or the airport. We’ll pick you up at 7:00 am in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep for a full-day tour.
The park that is closest to the city is Arusha National Park, which is only an hour and a half away. It is a beautiful place with high areas, savannahs, mountains, and lakes.
People don’t always pay attention to this small area, but adventurers who do decide to check it out will be glad they did. Arusha may be Tanzania’s most varied park. In just one day, tourists can see rich plains, a colorful group of lakes, and even an active volcano. The animals in the park are also very different, especially the huge numbers of giraffes.
A Safari by Canoe?
Arusha is the only place that fits. The park has not one but seven Momella lakes, and each one is a different shade of algae blue-green. You can see cormorants, kingfishers, and flamingos from your boat. Giraffes, zebras, and dik-diks can be seen on the shore nearby.
You can go on walking tours in this park because there aren’t many dangerous animals there. Waterbucks, buffalo, warthogs, and more giraffes will likely be feeding along the way. Did we say that the park has the most giraffes of any place in the world?
Mount Meru
If you go up Mt. Meru, you can see giraffes, elephants, and antelope as you go through its many environments. It’s not quite as big as Kilimanjaro, but it’s rarely covered in clouds like Kilimanjaro.
The Ngurdoto crater in Arusha is a popular place for tourists to visit, and you can see cows, elephants, baboons, warthogs, and antelope within its 3 km range. There is a lush jungle around the crater that is home to blue monkeys and black and white colobus monkeys.
More Things to Look At
Stopping at the Ngurdoto Museum near the Ngurdoto Forest is a good idea. It has a large collection of animals, birds, and insects from the park.
Many people like to stand on Tululusia Hill to get a good view of the park, Mt. Meru, and even Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance.
