This complete long-haul safari begins in Northern Kenya on the wide plains of Samburu National Reserve, home to hundreds
of elephants, lion, leopard, and cheetah. At what other park would you find the unique oryx, gerenuk, and Somali Ostrich?
Journeying on to central Kenya, the grasslands and bush of Ol Pejeta Wildlife Sanctuary are a treasure of endangered
species like rhino and chimpanzee. And close-by Aberdare National Park is a rich, mountain paradise of rainforest and
waterfalls. You’ll be staying up in a tree hotel, viewing the wildlife below as it gathers at nearby watering holes.

We’ll travel on to several Great Rift Valley lakes showing off a delightful assortment of birdlife. Lake Nakuru National
Park not only hosts pelicans and flamingoes but also offers treats like rhino, large game, and fantastic escarpments,
waterfalls, and acacia forests. To enjoy still more pink flamingoes, we’ll stop at Lake Bogoria National Reserve, with its
colourful birdlife and dramatic hot springs and geysers.

Lake Naivasha and its surrounding parks will set us sailing by hippos and bicycling to nearby Hell’s Gate National Park
for close viewing of grazing zebra, giraffe, and antelope. For a different but delightful perspective, we’ll take a guided
walking safari over to little Crescent Island Game Sanctuary and cormorants, pelicans, waterbuck, and gazelle we’ll find there.

And then the grandest park of them all – Masai Mara National Reserve – world-famous and Kenya’s most popular.
You’ll travel over hills and savannah country viewing the densest concentration of wildlife in this part of Africa.
Our stay here will stretch over several days in this wonderful reserve so get your camera ready.

Our Jambo Kenya tour presents a bountiful variety of parks, landscapes, wildlife, and cultural encounters.
