Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Kenya coast beach resort or hotel in a 4×4 Jeep for your safari journey. We’ll take the Malindi-Mariakani-Mombasa Road to Tsavo West.

The approximately 4–5-hour drive will be smooth sailing on a finished tarmac road with refreshment stops along the way.

Day 2: TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI (100 km – Approx. 2.5 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Safari time means early mornings to appreciate the breaking light over the plains and spot wildlife as it emerges into the new day.

We’ll head to lush Mzima Springs, a natural oasis fed by underground water. Explore on foot along the clear waters, home to hippos, crocodiles, fish, and birds.

Then we drive to Amboseli National Park. The short trip gives us time to relax and enjoy the iconic sight of Mt. Kilimanjaro watching over the reserve.

Amboseli’s sparse foliage makes wildlife tracking easier, and you’re guaranteed to see elephants and possibly all the Big Five. In the evening, we’ll dine and relax, perhaps catching Kilimanjaro’s summit as it emerges from the clouds.

Day 3: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Full Day of Game Viewing at Amboseli

Start the day early for more views of Kilimanjaro and a morning game drive. Afterward, return for a hearty safari breakfast.

Enjoy a mid-morning drive searching for wildlife including foxes, hyenas, monkeys, and yellow baboons. Then unwind over a leisurely lunch at your accommodation.

Later in the day, head out for an afternoon game drive. The presence of wildlife with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop makes for unforgettable safari moments.

Optional: Visit a nearby Masai village to learn about local culture. Your driver/guide will help arrange it.

Day 4: AMBOSELI – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK (260 km – Approx. 4 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Rise early for final views of Kilimanjaro and a morning safari in Amboseli. Look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and more.

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East via the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. Arrive in the afternoon at Kenya’s largest park—famous for big game, including the legendary man-eaters of Tsavo.

Your guide will lead game drives to track wildlife across the vast and rugged terrain, wrapping up with a picturesque African sunset.

Day 5: TSAVO EAST – MALINDI/WATAMU (160 km – Approx. 2–3 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch

Enjoy a final dawn game drive in Tsavo East to spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, and more around the open plains and waterholes.
