Enjoy this amazing safari in a customized pop-up roof 4×4 Safari Jeep that includes: Cooler Box, long-range high-frequency radio, Power Outlets AC 230V, First Aid Kit, and above all, a professional multi-lingual safari guide who will ensure you have an unforgettable safari experience.

The Serengeti. Ngorongoro Crater. Oldupai Gorge. The names are exotic, the locations even more so. This Tanzania Safari will bring you into the heart of the country – to immense savannahs heaving with wildebeests and big cats, and an ancient crater filled with zebras, gazelles, cheetahs, and flamingoes.

We’ll touch the origins of mankind at Oldupai Gorge, a millions-year-old record of humankind’s earliest inhabitants. And then, when you’ve explored the best of Tanzania from the ground, our safari will take you to the air with a flight over these same magnificent landscapes and a return to Arusha.

Our Safari Begins

We will head out to the almost mystical world of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area – site of the largest intact volcanic crater on the planet. Down the steep crater walls, we’ll descend to a self-contained ecosystem that’s known to create its own weather. Welcome to a fertile land that holds the highest density of lions in Africa. In the heart of this most unique crater, we’ll find woods, marshes and every sort of wildlife – look for elephants, buffaloes, gazelles, endangered black rhinos, and even blazing pink flamingoes.

The great Serengeti National Park is next but first, we’ll make a stop at a special place where it all began – Oldupai Gorge, perhaps the greatest anthropological site in the world. This is a treasure of earliest man’s fossilized tools and other remnants dating back several millions of years. We’ll explore the steep-sided ravine and the historic bounty it has given us.

The Great Serengeti

Just as Oldupai echoes the beginnings of mankind, the fields and plains of Serengeti National Park give birth to the Great Migration – the largest movement of animals on the planet. Look out over Tanzania’s largest reserve to its endless expanse, home to millions of wildebeests and zebra. It is here they begin their annual trek searching for ever taller grasses and water to sustain life.

In sheer numbers, the Serengeti holds more lions than any other place in Africa, as well as the other big cats. But this is also a lively world of avian life – over 500 bird species fill the vast sky with their colors and distinctive calls. A visit here will leave you in awe of all the sights, sounds, and vivid memories nature is waiting to share.

From the Serengeti, we’ll board our plane for the picturesque flight back to Arusha.
