Masai Mara 2-Day Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara (Approx. 265 km – 5 to 6 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

0500hrs: Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, airport, or residence.

Start your journey toward the Masai Mara Game Reserve – Kenya’s top wildlife destination.

Enjoy a breakfast stop at Narok town and arrive in the Mara by approximately 1030hrs for your first game drive.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Nairobi (Approx. 265 km – 5 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your guide will assist with checkout before departing for Nairobi.

En route, enjoy views of Mount Longonot, an extinct stratovolcano in the Great Rift Valley, believed to have last erupted in the 1860s. Its name comes from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges.”

You can choose to:

• Drive via Naivasha for lunch or excursions (extra cost)
• Visit Kiambethu Farm for a tea tour and 3-course buffet lunch (extra cost)
• Drive directly to Nairobi and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home
