Ol Lentille Conservancy protects diverse northern Kenya wildlife including endangered Grevy's zebras, reticulated giraffes, predators, and species adapted to semi-arid landscapes.

Northern Specialties

Endangered Grevy's zebras—world's rarest zebra species—resident in good numbers. Reticulated giraffes with distinctive patterns. Beisa oryx with straight horns. Gerenuk (giraffe gazelles) browse on hind legs. Somali ostrich distinguished by blue neck/legs.

Predators

Lions patrol territories—sightings regular though not guaranteed. Leopards frequent rocky outcrops and riverine zones. Cheetahs hunt open areas. Spotted hyena clans active. Smaller predators: servals, caracals, striped hyenas, African wildcats enhance diversity.

Other Species

Elephants migrate through. Buffalo in small herds. Grant's gazelles, impala, eland, hartebeest provide herbivore diversity. Over 350 bird species recorded. Arid-adapted species create unique assemblages different from southern Kenya parks.
