 7 Days, 6 Nights: Uganda Gorilla and Game Safari

Day 1: Arrive & Overnight at Entebbe

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport where you will meet your Safari Driver Guide for a warm welcome and a transfer to your Entebbe Hotel. He will also brief you on your safari ahead of time and advise if best to change monies on this day.

Day 2: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP (476 kms / 8.5 hrs)

Early breakfast and have an entire day drive to Bwindi NP. You will have a scenic drive past the Equator where you can have a break for your lunch. Proceed on past Mbarara and branch off to Kanungu route to the eastern part of Bwindi NP in good time for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable NP (1 hour viewing)

07:00 hrs: After an early breakfast, be transferred to Bwindi National Park Headquarters for the start of your gorilla tracking experience starting with a good briefing on the dos and don’ts while on the trek and once you get to the gorilla family allocated to you.
08:00 hrs: Set off into the forest in the footsteps of the Mountain Gorillas. You will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes who start earlier to locate the site where the gorillas spent the night. Once you get to the Gorilla family site, you will be allowed to view and interact with them for 1 hour.

Day 4: Drive from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth NP (175 kms / 4.5 hrs)

Breakfast and proceed on to Queen Elizabeth NP with game viewing drive through the southern Ishasha sector.

Day 5: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth NP and back to the lodge for lunch.

15:00 hrs: Set out for an exciting Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will encounter numbers of hippos and huge elephants at the banks of the channel, not to mention several species of birds and panoramic views into Lake Edward! Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Trekking & Drive to Kampala (414 kms / 7h15 mins)

Breakfast and check out of the lodge. Visit Kyambura Gorge for Chimpanzee and other Monkey primates in the Gorge. Thereafter start off your drive back to Kampala with a picnic lunch en-route.

Day 7: Depart

Breakfast at the lodge and thereafter be transferred back to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight back.
