SENTRIM TSAVO EAST
Location
Sentrim Tsavo Camp is located in Tsavo East National Park. The entire 19 tents are spread out in a shadowed glade among Boskia trees. The camp has the atmosphere of the pioneer camps of long ago while providing the luxury of a permanent camp with modern amenities. The main guest area consists of the reception, lounge area, restaurant and bar.
Climate
Generally hot and dry fanned by a cool breeze. Long rains are anticipated from mid-April to May and the short rains from November to early December. Minimum temperature is 18°C and maximum is 37°C.
Access
The camp is 345 kilometers from Nairobi, 11 km from Voi Gate and 40 kilometers from Buchuma Gate. It is about a 2-hour drive from Mombasa. Malindi is 167 kilometers away, about a 3-hour drive.
Accommodation & Tents
Each of the spacious tents has a modern ensuite bathroom, hot and cold showers, a writing desk, and an elevated private balcony for spectacular views of sunsets and hills teeming with wildlife. The tents feature personal closets, flush toilets, and power sockets for battery charging. All rooms are equipped with lighting and flushing toilets.
