The Retreat at Ngorongoro
The lounge area has comfortable chairs set up right in front of a clean, wooden bar, all with the same theme. On the outside patio, there are comfortable chairs where people can eat their meals instead of in the main dining room.
Guests can cool off in the pool between safaris and other activities, like going to the gym or just resting with a massage. If guests want to do something a little more active, they can ride their bikes to the nearby cultural town or go for a walk through the gardens and farmland near the lodge, keeping an eye out for the many beautiful birds that live there. There is also a small business room and a gift shop with a variety of nice items.
The location of The Retreat at Ngorongoro
The Retreat at Ngorongoro is in Tloma, which is close to the town of Karatu. People can either drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara Airstrip, which takes about two hours and fifteen minutes, or take a 30-minute flight from Arusha to Lake Manyara Airstrip. After a 30-minute drive, they will be taken to the Retreat.
Rooms / Tents at The Retreat at Ngorongoro
The Retreat at Ngorongoro has 25 luxury cottages for guests to stay in. Of these, 21 are twin cottages and 4 are double cottages. Also, there is a Family Cottage with two bedrooms and a sofa bed for extra sleeping space. Both bedrooms have king beds.
Each room in the Twin Cottage has two queen-size beds, and each room in the Double Cottage has a beautiful king-size bed. There are four Twin Cottages that can be linked together, making it perfect for families.
Inside each cottage, there is a writing desk and chair, a small sitting area, a safe to keep valuables, and a cozy fireplace. Each cottage has a verandah with comfy seating. They can use the WiFi and order room service during their stay. There is a place to make tea and coffee and a closet where they can hang their clothes. They all have their own bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower, and bathroom items for guests to use during their stay.
