Porini Cheetah Camp Masai Mara

Porini Cheetah Camp is a small, exclusive tented camp designed to provide a rich and immersive wildlife experience in the heart of the Kenyan bush. Located within the private Ol Kinyei Conservancy, this unfenced camp is far removed from traditional safari crowds and offers a serene, intimate atmosphere with just six spacious guest tents.

The camp is fully solar-powered and features modern comforts such as in-tent fans, charging stations (available during the day), and ensuite bathrooms complete with hot showers, flush toilets, and running water. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi in the camp’s public areas.

Location

Porini Cheetah Camp is set inside the exclusive Ol Kinyei Conservancy, which is reserved for Porini Camps and just one other permanent camp, ensuring minimal traffic and an uninterrupted safari experience. The conservancy is renowned for its rich wildlife, particularly big cats like cheetahs—frequently seen with cubs—as well as large herds of elephants and abundant plains game.

Guests at Porini Cheetah Camp can also enjoy game drives in the neighboring Maasai Mara National Reserve and the Naboisho Conservancy, expanding their chances to see even more wildlife in varied habitats. The camp itself lies near the Olare Lemunyi watercourse, close to a permanent marsh and the striking White Rock feature, both popular gathering spots for wildlife. The White Rock is also a favorite sundowner spot thanks to its panoramic views.
