The Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is in the Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy. It is a 90-minute drive from the Lake Manyara Airstrip to get there. There are flights from Arusha to the airstrip that leave every 30 minutes. It takes four hours to drive from Arusha.

There are 97 guest rooms in round houses with two stories, which are called “rondavels.”For every rondavel, there are four rooms, and each one has two queen-size beds and a decorated verandah with a view of the Crater. The bedspreads, curtains, and a small piece of art in each room are red and brown, which are the colors of the local tribes.

Each room has high-tech warmth, a safe for guests to keep their valuables, a minibar, and a place to make tea and coffee. There is Wi-Fi and room service in every room.
