Offbeat Mara Camp,The 74,000-acre Mara North Conservancy (MNC) is home to the small, traditional safari camp Offbeat Mara. There is a lot of wildlife in the area, but there isn’t a camp or lodge nearby. MNC is only open to member groups and has strict rules about how to properly watch a game. Because of these things, our guests get an experience that is becoming harder to find elsewhere.

Offbeat Mara keeps its private, homey feel by having only seven tents. There are two family huts and five doubles or twins. The main tent called the “mess” is the center of the camp. It has a bar, an eating area, a sitting room, a fireplace, and a forest deck. Each tent has its own bathroom with a toilet and a traditional hot bush shower. There is a veranda for each tent, and they are all placed so that they have great views and solitude.
