Serian was the first of Alex’s camps, and it perfectly captures the essence of its name: meaning “peaceful, calm, serene” in the Masai language. Set in the exclusive Mara North Conservancy, Serian is one of just 11 member camps with access to this pristine area—meaning you get a rare feeling of privacy and true wilderness. The camp consists of five beautifully spacious canvas marquees built on raised hardwood decks, including one family suite. Each tent has a unique design and is tastefully furnished with elegant simplicity and thoughtful personal touches that make it feel like home.

The adjoining bush bathrooms provide wide-open views over the river valley—perfect for a soak in the tub. These spacious and airy spaces feature a shower, large custom-built bathtub, twin basins, and a flushing toilet.
