Kibo Safari Camp

Located just outside Kenya’s second most popular national park, Amboseli, Kibo Safari Lodge offers subtle luxury in a tranquil setting.
Classic tents are set privately in the bush with views of Mt Kilimanjaro visible from public areas and private accommodations.
A terraced restaurant invites guests to dine under acacia trees, local flavors incorporated in every meal.

The swimming pool is surrounded by slasto paving where sun loungers offer safari-goers some time out to relax in between game drives,
with a lounge and bar to be found in the main tented area.

Location

Kibo Safari Lodge is a four-hour drive from Nairobi with the lodge located close to Amboseli’s Kimana Gate.
Game drives are conducted in Amboseli National Park and guests have magnificent views of the famous Mt Kilimanjaro.

Rooms / Tents

73 luxury canvas tents comprise accommodation for single travelers, double and triple configurations, and family options.
Beds are made out of bush logs and have mosquito nets covering them at night.
Ensuite bathrooms comprise a sink and toilet and hot water shower.
The tents are spacious and equipped with a standing fan, writing desk and decorated in neutral colors, blending in with the serene surroundings.

Game Viewing / Activities

Amboseli National Park is known for its beautiful landscape and diverse terrain.
Lush hills set the stage for dramatic herds of elephants to roam while muddy water holes are the perfect playground for wallowing buffalos.
Game drives from Kibo Lodge are conducted in the morning and afternoon inside Amboseli,
with an opportunity to stop for a sundowner in a scenic spot before continuing your drive in the hopes of catching one of the ‘Big Five’ in action
before returning to your camp.
