Starts from and returns to Nairobi. Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel, airport, or residence. Travel in a customized pop-up roof 4×4 Jeep equipped with a portable fridge/cooler box, binoculars, long-range radio, sand bags, 4G/LTE broadband WiFi, power outlets, first aid kit, guide books, and baby seats available on request. Your professional multi-lingual safari guide ensures a memorable experience.

Tsavo West and Amboseli feature green rolling hills, golden savannahs, snow-capped summits, and wildlife including Africa’s Big Five – lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. Tsavo West showcases lava flows, scenic hills, baobab trees, and Mzima Springs with hippos and crocodiles. Amboseli offers massive elephant herds beneath the towering Mt. Kilimanjaro with marshes rich in birdlife. Customizations are available to suit your safari preferences.

All-Inclusive Details

Your 3-day Tsavo West/Amboseli safari includes park entrance fees, game drives, accommodations, and meals. Choose from economy, comfort, or luxury safari lodges or tented camps. Your private driver/guide will look after you throughout your journey. Transportation is in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep, the safari standard for comfort and rugged terrain.

Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park

Distance: 250 km – Approx. 4 hours | Meals: Lunch, Dinner

07:00 hrs – Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport. Travel in your private 4×4 Jeep along smooth highways with rest stops along the way to stretch and enjoy the views.

Day 2: Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park

Distance: 100 km – Approx. 2 hours | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We’ll rise early to witness the African sunrise as the wildlife and landscape come alive. This is the park’s most magical time with cool, still air reflecting the morning light. Tsavo West offers the extraordinary Mzima Springs – a lush oasis teeming with exotic fish, crocodiles, hippos, and birds. You can enjoy a guided walk along the green shores for unforgettable photo opportunities.

Next, a short drive brings us to Amboseli National Park. Mt. Kilimanjaro stands as your guide, overlooking herds of free-ranging elephants and other wildlife. Sparse foliage makes spotting animals easier, creating countless chances for photography. As evening falls, the clouds around Kilimanjaro’s peak may disperse to reveal its iconic snow-capped summit.

Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi

Distance: 250 km – Approx. 4 hours

Early risers will enjoy a breathtaking view of Mt. Kilimanjaro’s snowy summit (weather permitting) before breakfast. A mid-morning game drive offers additional wildlife spotting for elephants, lions, and other animals. After the final safari moments, we depart Amboseli, traveling along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway back to Nairobi. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon around 16:30 hrs (4:30 pm).
