Adventure In The Wild Safaris will pick you up at your Diani Beach resort for a scenic drive to the park. After a fast 2 ½ hour trip you’ll arrive at the gate of Tsavo East to begin your safari adventure!

Mudanda Rock

Aruba Dam

This man-made dam was built in 1952 on the Voi River. The dam’s reservoir attracts a multitude of animals and birds. There are over 500 species of birdlife in Tsavo Park.

Day Two

You’ll arise early from your safari lodge or tented camp in time to experience the sunrise and awakenings of wildlife. Then we’ll head out on a dawn game drive, later to return for a robust safari breakfast. The day will be an exploration of animal sightings and discoveries throughout the park. And then you’ll enjoy lunch at an open, rustic restaurant complete with vistas of the park’s broad plains.

After a final game drive, we’ll whisk you back to your resort at Diani Beach.

Your 2-Day Tsavo East safari includes all ground transportation, accommodation in a choice of economy, comfort or luxury safari lodges/tented camps, park entrance fees, game drives, all meals and pickup/drop off at your Diani/Tiwi and south coast locations.

However… please know that whatever level of accommodation you choose, your actual safari adventure with us will always be at our highest standards.

Transportation between parks and game viewing will be in a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep – this vehicle is the safari standard with its higher seating and rugged all-wheel drive.

Tsavo East Tour – 2 Days

Day 1

DIANI – TSAVO EAST (120 KMS – Approx. 2½ hours)

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

The Tsavo East National Park tour starts with pick up from your beach hotel or location and proceeds to Mombasa via the Likoni ferry crossing.
The tour then continues along the Nairobi – Mombasa highway on a scenic 2.5-hour drive along smooth tarmac roads.

Day 2

TSAVO EAST – DIANI (170 KMS – Approx. 3 hours)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch

Early rise with nature! The dawn game viewing drive offers you first-hand the Adventure In The Wild Safaris experience.
Catch the African sunrise in its natural splendor as you look out for wildlife.

This morning more grounds shall be covered before returning for breakfast.
Later, check out of your safari accommodation and head out for more wild discoveries, sightseeing, and game spotting as we exit the park.

You shall enjoy lunch at an open-plan rustic restaurant with panoramic views of the Tsavo East plains.
