Location

Located on popular Nyungwe Beach, the Royal Zanzibar Hotel is a 90-minute drive from Zanzibar Airport. Guests will fly in either directly on an international flight or from Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam.

The accommodation at Royal Zanzibar Hotel is a mix of Superior Rooms, Superior Deluxe Rooms, Ocean Suites and a Royal Suite. All rooms boast wonderful views over the Indian Ocean, picturesque sunsets simply stunning. The Superior Rooms are 839 sq ft in size, located on the ground floor with a terrace and have King or Queen beds. The Superior Deluxe Rooms are located on the second and third floor, 830 sq ft in size with King or Queen beds. There are wall-to-wall glass sliding doors letting in the natural light and a balcony, views over the gardens, pool and ocean.

The Ocean Suite is 1054 sq ft in size and located in the front row of accommodation, a chance to take in breathtaking sunsets from your terrace, a King or Queen bed set up for guests. An impressive, luxury Royal Suite stands 3229 sq ft in size, and offers a King bed. There is floor-to-ceiling glass on two of the walls and the wraparound terrace is the perfect place to sit and look out over the ocean from your high vantage point. All rooms are decorated in neutral colors with hints of pale blues and burgundy in pillows and throws. The beds are all wooden and include a wardrobe, tea and coffee-making facilities, in-room safe, mini fridge, WiFi and TV. Every room is en-suite with a vanity, toilet and bathtub with shower.
