Embalakai Serengeti

Superb luxury awaits you when you choose to stay at the Embalakai Serengeti. This authentic camp is located midway between the Ngorongoro Crater and the Northern part of the Serengeti. The camp has commanding views over the Nyobogati River where guests can enjoy wandering wildlife from the comfort of their private deck.

The main area of the Camp has a wonderful, spacious dining area with seating set up in a long, communal table, a Maasai-patterned cloth covering the table and adding a wonderful contrasting color to the neutral colors of the canvas.

Guests can unwind in between safari experiences, either on their private deck, the 13 spacious tents all very private in setting and design, or up in the main area in the comfortable sitting area and bar. There is a campfire lit each night (weather dependent), where guests can gather before retiring for the night. The Grumeti river, known for the crossing of wildebeest during the great migration around July each year, is fairly close to the Camp, providing the ideal place for magnificent wildlife viewing.

Location

Embalakai Serengeti Camp is located in the Northern part of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. A flight from Arusha will take approximately one hour to the Serengeti, landing on the Seronera airstrip. The transfer from Seronera is a 10-mile trek through the bush to the Camp.
